After nearly a year hiatus comes the Shattered Wig Review #27. And Friday (12.07) will mark the publication of the new review, which boasts cover art by Erin Womack. Look forward to readings by two of DC’s finest poets, Rod Smith and Mel Nichols. Shattered Wig Night will be at the 14 Karat Cabaret on 218 West Saratoga. From now through the 22nd of December, the Creative Alliance hosts photographer Mindy Best and her exhibition, Tourist Trappings, an interesting look at her annual visit to South Dakota. The exhibition is free and will look at this peculiar corner of America with its strangely quiet and sun-bleached landscape.
